About the studies

The postgraduate studies are designed for individuals holding managerial positions or aspiring to leadership roles in public administration. The program is intended for professionals who want to develop competencies in managing teams, projects, and processes in the dynamically changing environment of public institutions, particularly in the context of ongoing digital transformation.

The studies provide practical tools and up-to-date knowledge necessary for the effective management of administrative units, the implementation of change, and the improvement of public service quality. Originally developed at the request of local and central government administration, the program is now offered through open recruitment and is available to all individuals interested in professional development in the field of public management.

Program

The program lasts two semesters and includes 176 hours of classes.

Participants complete a practical organizational project in teams.

The study program includes 50 hours (29.4%) of theoretical instruction and 120 hours (70.6%) of practical classes, including elective courses whose topics will be agreed upon with the group.

Target Audience

A candidate for the Management in the Public Sector postgraduate program is a person who:

  • holds a higher education degree and wants to develop a career in public institutions, including government bodies, local authorities, supervisory agencies, or organizations cooperating with the public sector;

  • already works in public administration or plans to do so, and therefore needs practical preparation for working in a regulated, procedure-based environment;

  • seeks to acquire practical management competencies, including team management, change management, social dialogue, communication, conflict resolution, and related areas.


The program is suitable for:

  • managers and specialists in central or local government administration who wish to expand their competencies in team management, process management, public finance, control, and social dialogue;

  • individuals preparing to take on managerial roles (e.g. coordinators, project leaders, department heads);

  • candidates preparing for a career in public administration who want to gain a comprehensive and practical set of skills;

  • professionals working in non-governmental organizations, public institutions, or social projects.

Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees for the Academic Year 2025/26

  • One-time payment for the full program: PLN 10,000

  • Two-installment option: PLN 5,000 per semester × 2

  • Installment plan: payment may be spread over eight installments


Information for Participants Whose Tuition Is Covered by Their Employer

  • Invoices are issued only after payment has been made.

  • In accordance with the signed agreement, once the tuition fee has been received, the University will issue an invoice to the Participant, indicating the funding entity (employer) as the payer.

  • Bank account number for payments made by the employer:

  • For individual payments, a personal bank account number is generated after the student’s enrollment in USOS (University Study-Oriented System).
