Recruitment Schedule for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

  • Registration in the IRK system: June 5, 2025 – July 9, 2025
  • Payment of the application fee: June 5, 2025 – July 10, 2025
  • Entrance exam: July 17, 2025 (online exam on the campus-recruitment platform)
  • Announcement of results: July 22, 2025
  • Submission of documents by admitted candidates: July 23–25, 2025.
    If there are any shifts on the reserve list, additional two-day submission dates will be posted on the Candidate’s individual account in the IRK system.

Admission Criteria

Candidates will take a written exam in the form of a test covering topics in financial management, accounting, and economics.
The maximum number of points obtainable from the exam is 50.
The qualification threshold is 25 points.

Transfers from Other Universities

Students from other universities applying for admission through transfer must meet the following conditions:

  • Have completed at least the first year of full-time studies in finance, accounting, or economics
  • Have an average grade not lower than 4.5

During the qualification process, a ranking list will be created including candidates with the highest average grades.

Students accepted into the Faculty of Management will be required to make up any curriculum differences.

Students wishing to transfer must register in the IRK system and upload the following documents:

  • Confirmation of completing at least the first year of studies in the 2023/24 academic year at a university other than UW
  • Transcript of academic records
  • Certificate of grade point average from current studies
  • Document confirming the student’s clearance from the previous university
  • Consent to transfer from the current university

Transfer Admission Procedure

  1. Registration for transfer studies. IMPORTANT: Registration must be done in the IRK system under the transfersection, not the general open recruitment section. Click the link and register for transfer studies from a university other than UW.
  2. Upload the following required documents in the IRK system:
    • Confirmation of completing at least the first year of studies in the 2023/24 academic year at a university other than UW
    • Transcript of academic records
    • Certificate of GPA
    • Clearance document from previous university
    • Transfer consent from current university
  3. Check recruitment results and messages from the Faculty of Management Recruitment Committee on the candidate’s IRK account.

TRANSFER RECRUITMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

  • Registration in the IRK system: June 5, 2025 – September 1, 2025
  • Announcement of results: September 3, 2025
  • Submission of documents by admitted candidates: September 4–5 and 8, 2025

Students from other universities applying for admission through transfer must meet the following conditions:

  • Hold the status of a student at a university accredited by the Polish Accreditation Committee in the field of first-cycle studies in Management or Finance and Accounting
  • Have completed at least the first year of full-time studies in the above-mentioned field
  • Have achieved a grade point average (GPA) of at least 4.5 in their studies so far

The qualification process is based on a ranking list of candidates with the highest GPA.
A candidate may be disqualified if the curriculum completed at another university significantly differs from the curriculum followed by second-cycle full-time Management students at the same stage of study.
The final decision regarding admission is made by the Head of the Teaching Unit.
