EQUIS re-accreditation for the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw: Confirmation of a world-class quality!

The Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw triumphs once again by receiving the well-deserved EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) re-accreditation – a prestigious international certificate confirming its educational and impact excellence. Since 2017, we have been the pride of Polish education as the first public institution in Poland to receive this top-class accreditation. Apart from our School, only 3 centers in the country and 220 universities in the world hold this distinction. EQUIS accreditation is one of the three most worldwide regarded certificates for business schools, forming with the ‘AACSB’ and the ‘AMBA’ accreditations the so-called ‘Triple Crown’. Since 2022, our School is in fact triple-accredited, putting us at the top of public business schools in Poland. By awarding the EQUIS accreditation, EFMD Global comprehensively analyses the quality of education and the impact of a business unit on its environment. It evaluates the development of students’ entrepreneurship, innovative teaching methods, internationalization, cooperation with business and ethical standards, and much more. For us, the EQUIS accreditation is both a proof of quality and a commitment to continuous improvement. In addition to the prestige implied, EQUIS accreditation brings numerous benefits, such as increased international recognition, access to top-level strategic advising and the opportunity to be included in renowned rankings such as ‘The Financial Times’ and ‘The Economist’. The re-accreditation is a success for the entire academic community, business partners and university authorities. This is a unique distinction that obliges us to continue to improve and build the future on solid foundations. Transition Report 2023-2024 – Transitions big and small

On February 26, 2024, the presentation of the report: Transition Report 2023-2024 – Transitions big and small will take place at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. The report will be presented by Prof. Beata Javorcik, Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. EBRD Transition Report is a cyclical, annual publication of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This year’s edition analyzes the impact of deep structural changes taking place in the global economy on life, livelihoods and living conditions in the regions where the EBRD invests. It focuses on “grand transformations” such as the transition to a sustainable economy, the reconfiguration of global supply chains, and competition for raw materials for the digital and green economy. Based on data from the latest “Life in Transition” study, it shows how big changes translate into “small transformations” in people’s lives: changes in professional career, changes in physical and mental health and changes in life satisfaction. The report is available at: https://2023.tr-ebrd.com/
