On February 26, 2024, the presentation of the report: Transition Report 2023-2024 – Transitions big and small will take place at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. The report will be presented by Prof. Beata Javorcik, Chief Economist of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

EBRD Transition Report is a cyclical, annual publication of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This year’s edition analyzes the impact of deep structural changes taking place in the global economy on life, livelihoods and living conditions in the regions where the EBRD invests. It focuses on “grand transformations” such as the transition to a sustainable economy, the reconfiguration of global supply chains, and competition for raw materials for the digital and green economy. Based on data from the latest “Life in Transition” study, it shows how big changes translate into “small transformations” in people’s lives: changes in professional career, changes in physical and mental health and changes in life satisfaction.
