The finissage of the permanent exhibition “The Eagle and the University’s Five Stars” will take place on May 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the University of Warsaw Museum, Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace, 32 Krakowskie Przedmieście.

We also invite you to the closing weekend of the exhibition “The Eagle and the Five Stars of the University”
This is the last opportunity to visit the exhibition showcasing the origins of the University of Warsaw. The display features priceless artifacts and historical educational, scientific, and artistic collections of the University. Two hundred years ago, these items were used by professors and students to explore and study the laws of nature, physics, medicine, and art.
The years of partitions, wars, and the passage of time were not kind to these collections. Many of the surviving pieces were dispersed among various institutions. Identifying, locating, retrieving, and bringing them back to the University to be presented at the University of Warsaw Museum was a truly inspiring undertaking.
The exhibition, now coming to a close, was opened ten years ago to mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of the University of Warsaw in 1816. Today, the University proudly honors its rich history while simultaneously achieving top ranks and conducting cutting-edge research.
We warmly invite you to take this final chance to explore the historical foundations of the University’s present-day accomplishments.
