Career paths and opportunities after graduation

A graduate of this program will be able to work, among others, in:

  • financial and tax consulting, in international and domestic tax advisory firms, law firms handling tax cases, auditors’ offices, and accounting firms,

  • accounting and audit departments of domestic and international enterprises,

  • tax administration (Ministry of Finance, tax offices, customs and tax offices, tax administration chambers, National Tax Information offices, local government tax authorities),

  • running their own business activity.

Admission Rules

Applicants for the first year of second-cycle (master’s) studies must hold a bachelor’s, master’s, engineer’s, or equivalent degree.

Candidates are admitted to the program based on the arithmetic average calculated from:

  • the final grade on the higher education diploma,

  • the grade point average (GPA) from the course of studies.

ranking list is created in the admission process based on the final score calculated according to the above criteria.

Admission Rules for Candidates with a Foreign Diploma

The same rules apply as for candidates with a diploma obtained in Poland.
Candidates holding a higher education diploma obtained abroad who do not possess a Polish language proficiency document recognized by the University of Warsaw (in accordance with the general requirements specified in the recruitment resolution) must take a qualification interview to assess their knowledge of the Polish language.

During the interview, the candidate’s ability to read and understand a text as well as to formulate spoken responses in Polish will be evaluated.

  • Maximum number of points that can be obtained from the qualification interview: 5

  • Minimum number of points required to pass the qualification interview: 3

Recruitment Schedule for Studies in the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Registration in the IRK system: June 5, 2025 – July 22, 2025.
Payment of the recruitment fee: June 5, 2025 – July 23, 2025.
Announcement of results: August 1, 2025.
Submission of documents by qualified candidates: August 2, 5–6, 2025.
If there are any changes due to waiting list movements, additional two-day deadlines will be posted on the candidate’s individual account in the IRK system.

If the quota of places is not filled in the first recruitment round, a second round will be launched. Registration for the second round will begin on August 19, 2025.
