Admission rules

Candidates are required to register online via the Internet Candidate Registration – register here! and pay the application fee.

Candidates take a written test covering basic knowledge of management and economics from a published list of topics. The test is conducted in English.
The maximum number of points to be obtained in the written test is 30.
Minimum score required to qualify: 15

Verification of the candidate’s ability to study in English

Candidates who do not have an English language certificate of at least B2 level recognised by the University of Warsaw will be assessed via an online test.

The maximum score for the online test is 30.
The minimum score required to qualify is 15.

Language test points are not included in the candidate’s final result.
Confirmation of the candidate’s ability to study in English is a prerequisite for admission to further stages of the admissions process.

Date of the online English language test (if applicable to the candidate): 16 July, 2025.
Date of the online written test: 18 July 2025
Announcement of results: 22 July 2025
Receipt of documents:
• Round I: 23-25 July, 2025
• Round II (in case of not fulfilling the limit during round I): 28-29 July, 2025
• Round III (in case of not fulfilling the limit during round II): 30-31 July, 2025

Required documents:

  • Higher education diploma (MA, BA, engineering diploma or equivalent) and the transcript of grades obtained during the course of study, entitling the holder to continue university studies in the country in which the diploma was awarded (in English or with a translation into English)
  • Personal questionnaire with the candidate’s photo, printed from the candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate (available in the candidate’s individual registration account in the section “Enrolment applications” under the chosen field of study, accessible via the link “Documents and further steps”)
  • Application for the issue of an electronic student’s card (ELS) with the candidate’s photo, printed from the candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate – in the case of candidates who do not have an ELS from the University of Warsaw (available in the candidate’s individual registration account in the section “Enrolment applications” under the chosen field of study, accessible via the link “Documents and further steps”)
  • Proof of student’s ID (ELS) payment: 22 PLN;

  • From candidates holding a diploma issued abroad, in addition: a legalisation (authorisation) or apostille (if the document was issued by an institution operating in the educational system in a country that is a party to the Convention abolishing the requirement of legalisation for foreign public documents concluded at The Hague on 5 October 1961) of the original of the higher education diploma and the transcript of grades (read more)
  • From candidates holding a diploma issued abroad, in addition: a document certifying that the diploma entitles the holder to undertake or continue studies at university level in the country in which the diploma was awarded. Such evidence should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which awarded the diploma or by the educational authorities of the country in which the diploma was awarded or of the education system in which the school operates (in English or with a translation into English) (a sample form)
  • Certificate of English language proficiency (at least B2 level) recognised by the University of Warsaw (A list of documents certifying the knowledge of English, accepted in the process of recruitment)
  • Payment declaration,
  • Proof of payment of application fee – in case of the need for confirmation of making the payment
  • Photocopy of visa or other document proving legalisation of stay in Poland
  • Authorisation for the submission of documents – in the case of the submission of the candidate’s documents by the other person (a sample form – two pages)
