Candidates are selected on the basis of submitting the full set of documents indicated below (Step 1) and an interview combined with a presentation (Step 2).
Step 1. Application
The application must include:
–>> for candidates who graduated from a Polish public university:
a bachelor’s, master’s, or engineer’s degree, or other equivalent document entitling them to undertake second-cycle studies, along with a supplement or transcript of grades from previous studies introducing the candidate to the required areas of knowledge, i.e., financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management, and marketing.
–>> for candidates who graduated from a Polish private university or hold a document that does not contain the required areas of knowledge in the field of financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management and marketing, an additional document confirming the GMAT or GRE exam result at the following levels is required:
– minimum 500 on the GMAT (old version) or minimum 485 on the new GMAT Focus Edition
– minimum 300 on the GRE
–>> for candidates with a foreign diploma:
- a bachelor’s, master’s, or engineer’s degree, or other equivalent document entitling them to undertake second-cycle studies, along with a supplement or transcript of grades from previous studies introducing the candidate to the required areas of knowledge, i.e., financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management, and marketing;
- a document confirming the GMAT or GRE exam result at the above-mentioned levels:
– minimum 500 on the GMAT (old version) or minimum 485 on the new GMAT Focus Edition
– minimum 300 on the GRE
PLEASE NOTE: It is absolutely necessary to provide the appropriate indicated score for the one of the above tests required under MBA programs, regardless of the submission of another test certifying knowledge of English language proficiency.
The official GMAT / GRE scores should be directed to the leading program institution, University of North Florida. Our Faculty needs to get the copies of the discussed scores.

–>> In addition, all applicants for second-cycle studies at the University of Warsaw are required to submit the following set of basic application documents:
a) Confirmation of proficiency in the English language for studies conducted in English at a level of at least B2:
Candidates submit to the IRK system, within the registration period for studies, a scan of a document confirming the knowledge of the English language included on the list of documents specified by the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education [list of documents]
b) an average of grades obtained during studies prior to the GlobalMBA program (if not included in the presented transcript or diploma supplement). An average of grades obtained during studies and a final previous studies grade expressed in other scale will be adjusted to the scale in force at the University of Warsaw.
c) a personal questionnaire, which includes candidate’s photo, printed out from candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate (available at the candidate’s individual registration account in section „Enrollment applications” under the chosen field of study accessible through the link “Documents and further steps”),
d) an application for issuing electronic student’s id (ELS), which includes candidate’s photo, printed out from candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate – in case of candidates not holding ELS from University of Warsaw (available at the candidate’s individual registration account in section “Enrollment applications” under the chosen field of study accessible through the link “Documents and further steps”),
e) a proof of student’s id (ELS) payment: 22 PLN;

f) statement on becoming acquainted with the amount of fees for educational services at the University of Warsaw (available at the candidate’s individual registration account in section “Enrollment applications” under the chosen field of study accessible through the link “Documents and further steps”),
–>> From candidates holding a diploma issued abroad, in addition:
g) a legalisation (authorisation) or apostille (if the document was issued by an institution operating in the educational system in a country that is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, concluded in The Hague, 5 October 1961) of the original of the higher education diploma and transcript of grades [read more],
h) a document stating that the diploma entitles to undertake or continue university-level study in country in which the diploma was issued (such proof should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which issued the diploma or by educational authorities of the country which issued the diploma or in which system of education the school operates) with translation into English (a sample form),
i) a photocopy of visa or other document proving legalisation of stay in Poland,
j) authorization to submission of documents – in case of submission of candidate’s documents by the other person (a sample form – two pages)

Step 2. Interview
After submitting the complete set of required documents candidates are invited to an interview in English, which includes a presentation on a previously specified topic.
The list of topics will be announced soon.
PLEASE NOTE: only the candidates who deliver a complete set of application documents will be entitled to participate in interview.
Exception: students who will have the thesis defences exams in June/July are allowed to submit their diploma later.
The interview conducted in English will verify the following criteria:
> communication skills in English (fluency and clarity of expression, lexical perspicuity, contribution to structuring conversation, communication skills, conducting discussions, vocabulary in the field of economics, business and related fields) – 6 points;
> entrepreneurial competences (creativity, innovation mindset) – 7 points;
> intercultural competences – 7 points.
The ranking list is compiled on the basis of the points obtained in the interview.
The maximum number of points to be scored in the interview: 20.
Number of points at the qualification threshold: 10.
Candidates admitted by partner universities during their own selection processes will be registered in accordance with the rules set out in the Global MBA consortium agreement.

- Announcement of results: 14th of July, 2026
