The Outsourcing Process Center (OPC) was established by the Dean’s Order No. 2/04/2023 of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw on April 12, 2023.
OPC is a scientific-research and educational unit operating within the structure of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.
The mission of OPC is to conduct research and substantive discussions involving representatives from academia, public institutions, as well as social partners, on the dynamically developing industry of business process outsourcing.
These activities have an interdisciplinary dimension. We aim to analyze this phenomenon and its evolution from the perspective of management theory, its social consequences, as well as legal and tax aspects. In the longer term, this form of activity will require legal regulation, especially concerning tax, immigration, employment, and administrative issues.
Therefore, beyond the purely scientific dimension, the goal of OPC is to support public entities, as well as employers’ and workers’ organizations, in developing appropriate legal regulations related to this phenomenon and subsequently monitoring their implementation.
The activities of OPC are multidimensional. In particular, they include:
- Creating a space for dialogue and collaboration between academia, administrative bodies, and social partners interested in business process outsourcing.
- Scientific research.
- Scientific publications.
- Preparation of expert opinions and analyses.
- Participation in the legislative process as an expert entity.
- Organizing conferences, seminars, and training.
- Certification and audits of interested entities.
We invite all interested parties to cooperate.
