Description 

The PSM ART studies enable artists and cultural animators to acquire new skills as cultural managers. Participants gain comprehensive knowledge, professional qualifications, and managerial skills necessary for planning their own careers and managing employees, effectively leading independent cultural projects, establishing and running their own businesses (e.g., artistic agencies), constructing business plans, strategies, and promotion plans, obtaining funding from Polish and EU funds, navigating copyright, trade, media, and tax law, as well as promotion, marketing, and public relations.

A professional team of practitioners and academic staff from the University of Warsaw will introduce you to current management issues in the cultural field. Upon completion, you’ll receive a prestigious Postgraduate Studies Certificate from UW, ensuring solid knowledge and providing a competitive edge in the job market.

Employment opportunities 

The PSM ART studies facilitate artists and cultural animators in gaining a new profession as cultural managers. They collaborate with the Career Office, UW Alumni Club, and numerous cultural institutions and organizations. Among the graduates are many prominent artists – cultural managers who lead top cultural institutions in Poland. These studies open up a new stage in the professional careers of cultural workers. Graduates successfully compete for managerial positions in cultural institutions in Poland and the EU.

Tuition Fees 

Tuition Fees for the academic year 2024/25:

  • Single payment for the entire program – 5,500 PLN
  • Payment in two installments: 5,700 PLN – 2,850 PLN per semester x 2
  • Possible installment payment over eight installments (details available): 6,000 PLN – 750,00 PLN x 8

Information for individuals whose fees are covered by their employer:

  • Invoices will only be issued after payment.
  • As per the signed agreement, after receiving payment for the studies, the University will issue an invoice in the name of the Participant, indicating the Employer as the payer.
  • Account number for payments made by the employer is available in the tripartite agreement.
  • For individual payments: an individual account number is generated after the student’s enrollment in the University Study Service System (USOS).
