On March 3–4, 2025, the Welconomy Forum, one of the most important economic events in Poland, took place in Toruń. As part of the forum, a discussion panel titled “Womenomics is Coming – Beware, Men!” was held on March 4. Among the panelists was Monika Skorek PhD, Associate Professor, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education Quality at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw.

The panel focused on increasing women’s participation in the economy and business, including leadership positions such as supervisory boards and company management. Participants discussed the Women on Boards directive and its implementation in Polish legislation, analyzing the impact of these changes on Poland’s economic landscape.

Monika Skorek PhD, Associate Professor’s participation in this event highlights the commitment of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw to promoting gender equality in business and actively engaging in debates about the future of the Polish economy.
