Centre for Socially Responsible Innovations at Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw will organize the 6th edition of the Consumer Leadership Academy (CLA), an international educational program focused on consumer rights in digital markets. The Academy is implemented within the Consumer Empowerment Project, co-ordinated by the international consumer association Euroconsumers and Google.

Previous editions of CLA were organized by King’s College London, VUB University Brussels, NOVA University Lisbon, IE University Madrid and Bocconi University Milan.

The Academy’s theme at University of Warsaw is “Digital Fairness unveiled: navigating EU consumer rights in the digital age”. The focus of the 6th edition of CLA will be on the Digital Fairness Act (DFA) and the Digital Fairness Fitness Check as important regulatory initiatives within the European Union. CLA will take place at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, 7–9 May 2025.

The Consumer Leadership Academy (CLA) offers an intensive course designed to foster informed discussions on key policy issues shaping the future of consumer protection. The CLA welcomes a diverse audience, is completely free of charge, and the flight, accommodations and social events for accepted applicants are covered within the project. Participants can engage in insightful lectures, workshops and panel sessions tailored for industry professionals, academics, researchers, innovators, government representatives and delegates from consumer associations. CLA is more than just sessions – it’s also about networking and forging lasting connections, with dinners and cultural events providing informal and relaxed networking opportunities
