The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw was established in 1972, making it the oldest business school in Central and Eastern Europe. It is also the largest faculty at UW, which is the largest university and the best research center in the country. The Faculty is annually recognized in various rankings. In the “Perspectives” ranking for 2021 (in the group of economic disciplines, in the category of “Management”), the studies conducted by the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw were recognized as the best in Poland.

During the year-long exchange in South Korea, students complete the necessary courses to obtain the diploma from the foreign university. Thus, students obtain a double degree from the University of Warsaw and one of the two universities in Korea (Kyungpook National University (KNY) in Daegu and Chonnam National University (CNU) in Gwangju) by writing and defending only one bachelor’s thesis.
- offers international exchange opportunities, allowing students to easily apply for the Erasmus+ exchange program to 18 countries in Europe and to 7 countries under bilateral agreements, including Korea, the USA, Chile, and Malaysia. Through the 78 agreements concluded by the Faculty of Management, students can complete part of their studies abroad, earning credits for a semester or even a full year.

The studies aim to educate graduates who possess knowledge of the principles of creating and developing various forms of entrepreneurship and are prepared to act entrepreneurially on both a national and global scale. They will cultivate graduates with the skills and competencies to recognize, diagnose, and solve complex and atypical problems related to organizational functioning and to determine the impact of the environment:
- technological, social, political,
- legal, economic, and ecological.
The studies will develop the ability for independent and collaborative preparation of analyses concerning complex and atypical problems related to the functioning of the organization.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING

The program aims to educate graduates with the skills and competencies to recognize, diagnose, and solve complex and atypical problems related to financial decision-making in organizations and the management of institutions. Additionally, it aims to enable graduates to determine the impact of
- the technological, social, political, legal, economic, and ecological environment on financial decisions, the functioning of organizations, and the overall economy.
The studies are designed to educate graduates with the ability to independently and collaboratively prepare analyses related to complex and atypical problems in financial management in organizations, accounting, and institutional management.

MASTER’S PROGRAMS IN ENGLISH
Our Faculty also offers unique Master’s programs in English:
- The Global MBA program (1.5-year duration) is an exceptional program that gives students the opportunity to combine intensive studies with a specially designed set of courses and stays at universities in 4 countries: Germany, Poland, South Korea, and the United States. Upon successful completion of all program requirements and defending the master’s thesis, each student is awarded 2 master’s degrees: a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a European Master’s from European universities (a joint diploma from the University of Warsaw and Technische Hochschule Köln).
- International Business Progam (2-year program) – The studies aim to educate graduates with advanced knowledge in management, particularly in its international aspect, and related disciplines such as economics, finance, and legal sciences.
