The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw was established in 1972, making it the oldest business school in Central and Eastern Europe. The studies aim to educate graduates who possess knowledge of the principles of creating and developing various forms of entrepreneurship and are prepared to act entrepreneurially on both a national and global scale. They will cultivate graduates with the skills and competencies to recognize, diagnose, and solve complex and atypical problems related to organizational functioning and to determine the impact of the environment:

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTING

The program aims to educate graduates with the skills and competencies to recognize, diagnose, and solve complex and atypical problems related to financial decision-making in organizations and the management of institutions. Additionally, it aims to enable graduates to determine the impact of

  • the technological, social, political, legal, economic, and ecological environment on financial decisions, the functioning of organizations, and the overall economy.

The studies are designed to educate graduates with the ability to independently and collaboratively prepare analyses related to complex and atypical problems in financial management in organizations, accounting, and institutional management.

MASTER’S PROGRAMS IN ENGLISH

Our Faculty also offers unique Master’s programs in English:

  • The Global MBA program (1.5-year duration) is an exceptional program that gives students the opportunity to combine intensive studies with a specially designed set of courses and stays at universities in 4 countries: Germany, Poland, South Korea, and the United States. Upon successful completion of all program requirements and defending the master’s thesis, each student is awarded 2 master’s degrees: a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a European Master’s from European universities (a joint diploma from the University of Warsaw and Technische Hochschule Köln).
  • International Business Progam (2-year program) – The studies aim to educate graduates with advanced knowledge in management, particularly in its international aspect, and related disciplines such as economics, finance, and legal sciences.
