Using the “wz-hotspot” network

The wz-hotspot WiFi network can only be used by students and employees of the Faculty of Management who have an account in the network of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. The network is available throughout the Faculty of Management. To connect to it you need to:

  • From the wireless networks available in the area, select the network: wz-hotspot and enter the security password: wz-hotspot
  • After connecting, a window will appear allowing you to enter your network login details. On the login page, enter your username and password in the WZ network – these are the same data used to log in to computers at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw. Students enter the index number in the “user” field, while employees provide their login (most often the first letter of the name and surname are used (not separated by any character, e.g. “jsmith”).

Additional notes:

  • If the login window does not appear after connecting, launch a web browser and open the address https://wz-hotspot.wz.uw.edu.pl
  • The account must be fully activated and the password must not be expired.
  • You can use the network on up to two devices at the same time.
 
Resetting the password for the “wz-hotspot” network

The password for the wifi network “wz-hotspot” is the password for the WZ network. So you can reset it yourself using Self Service Password Reset (SSPR).
