We have fantastic news! At the Polish National Senior and Youth Championships, the University of Warsaw’s AZS team was named the Best Club in Poland, and our student Ksawery Masiuk-Swimmer took home a handful of medals, met the qualifying standard for the World Championships in Singapore in the 100m butterfly heats, and broke his own Polish record in the 100m backstroke (52.55)!
His achievements include:
- 100m Butterfly – Silver Medal
- 50m Backstroke – Gold Medal
- 100m Backstroke – Gold Medal
- 200m Backstroke – Gold Medal
- Men’s 4×200m Freestyle Relay (Antoni Fronczak, Adrian Jaśkiewicz, Maciej Guliński, Ksawery Masiuk) – Gold Medal (Open category and Youth category)
- Mixed 4×100m Medley Relay (Ksawery Masiuk, Barbara Mazurkiewicz, Adrian Jaśkiewicz, Aleksandra Polańska) – Gold Medal and a Polish Record
