On April 25, 2026, the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw celebrated a significant milestone — the final project defenses marking the successful completion of the first edition of the postgraduate studies “Management in the Public Sector.” The event brought together senior management staff of the Marshal’s Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship, who formed the inaugural cohort of this practice-oriented programme.
Public Sector Management in Practice: Final Project Topics
The final projects presented by graduates demonstrated a strong practical focus, directly addressing the real challenges of modern public administration. Topics explored included:
- multigenerational team management and organizational communication,
- transportation needs analysis in regional rail services, stakeholder engagement in line with the PN-ISO 26000 standard,
- the impact of EU funds on management and control standards in public administration,
- employee well-being and its influence on workforce engagement,
- leadership competencies and organizational culture in times of change,
- optimization of administrative processes with AI tools,
- cybersecurity in local government,
- internal communication and professional burnout in the public sector.
The breadth and quality of the projects confirm that graduates of the postgraduate studies “Management in the Public Sector” at the University of Warsaw are well-equipped to apply theoretical knowledge in real institutional settings.
