On 31 May 2026, the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw hosted the formal closing ceremony of the first edition of the postgraduate programmes “Management for Judges” and “Management for Prosecutors.”
The event brought together graduates of both programmes, representatives of the University of Warsaw authorities, the Faculty of Management, and invited guests from the judiciary and the prosecution service. The ceremony provided an opportunity to summarise the learning outcomes, highlight the importance of managerial competencies in justice institutions, and honour the participants who completed the programmes.
The meeting was opened by Dr Barbara Godlewska-Bujok, Head of Postgraduate Studies. Speeches were then delivered by Prof. Grzegorz Karasiewicz, Dean of the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw; Dr hab. Monika Skorek, University of Warsaw Professor; and Prof. Adam Niewiadomski, Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw.
The central part of the ceremony was the presentation of congratulatory letters to the graduates of the postgraduate programmes “Management for Judges” and “Management for Prosecutors.” This symbolic moment marked the culmination of their commitment, work, and development of competencies in management, organisation, and leadership.
After the presentation of the congratulatory letters, invited guests took the floor: Dariusz Korneluk, National Prosecutor, and Marta Kożuchowska-Warywoda, Director of the Department of Human Resources and Organisation of Common and Military Courts at the Ministry of Justice. In their speeches, they congratulated the graduates and emphasised the importance of developing managerial competencies among judges and prosecutors.
The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Piotr Girdwoyń, Director of the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, and Michał Mistygacz, Regional Prosecutor in Warsaw.
We warmly congratulate all graduates on completing their studies and wish them continued professional success.
