The International Risk Management Conference 2026 (IRMC 2026), hosted by the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, has successfully concluded.

For two days, the Faculty became a meeting place for leading academics, representatives of financial institutions, central banks, and industry professionals from around the world. The conference provided an outstanding platform for exchanging knowledge and experience while discussing the future of finance, risk management, and the key challenges facing today’s global economy.

The programme featured plenary sessions, panel discussions, and keynote lectures dedicated to the resilience of the financial sector, technological transformation, and the evolving landscape of risk management. One of the highlights was the panel “The New Risk Landscape in Financial Services: Resilience, Technology and Systemic Stability”, where experts explored the impact of emerging technologies on financial resilience and systemic stability.

We were honoured to welcome distinguished scholars, including Professor Edward Altman, Professor Menachem Brenner, Professor Vasant Dhar, Professor Beata Javorcik, and Professor Krzysztof Jajuga, whose keynote lectures and discussions were among the highlights of the conference. We were also delighted to welcome Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, whose presence emphasized the international significance of hosting IRMC 2026 at our University.
