Recruitment Schedule for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

  • Registration in the IRK system: June 5, 2025 – July 22, 2025
  • Payment of the application fee: June 5, 2025 – July 23, 2025
  • Announcement of results: August 1, 2025
  • Submission of documents by admitted candidates: August 2, 5–6, 2025.
    If there are any shifts on the reserve list, additional two-day submission dates will be posted on the candidate’s individual account in the IRK system.

Admission Criteria

Applicants for the first year of second-cycle (Master’s) studies must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Engineer’s, or equivalent degree.
Candidates are admitted based on the arithmetic average calculated from:

  • The final grade on the higher education diploma
  • The grade point average (GPA) from the course of studies

A ranking list is created based on the final score calculated according to the criteria above.

Admission Rules for Candidates with a Foreign Diploma

The same rules apply as for candidates with a diploma obtained in Poland.
If the foreign diploma does not include a final grade, the GPA from the course of studies will be treated as the equivalent grade, adjusted to the grading scale used at the University of Warsaw.
