On October 18, 2025, the University of Warsaw hosted the ceremonial inauguration of two newly established postgraduate programmes: “Management for Judges” and “Management for Prosecutors.”

The event was attended by university authorities and invited guests. Indeed, the inauguration marked an important milestone in the development of postgraduate education at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw.

The ceremony was opened by Prof. Grzegorz Karasiewicz, Dean of the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw, who welcomed the participants and presented the idea behind the programme.

Subsequently, the floor was taken by:

  • Dr. hab. Adam Niewiadomski, Prof. UW – Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw
  • Dr. hab. Monika Skorek, Prof. UW – Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education Quality, and Head of the Teaching Unit
  • Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak – Rector of the University of Warsaw
  • Dr. Barbara Godlewska-Bujok – Head of the Postgraduate Studies, who discussed the significance of the collaboration

On March 10, 2025, a letter of intent was signed regarding the establishment of new postgraduate studies in management, designed for active judges and prosecutors. Furthermore, the programmes were developed in cooperation with the Minister of Justice and the National School of the Judiciary and Public Prosecution.

The launch of the studies is a response to the growing challenges faced by the justice system and the need to develop managerial skills among its representatives.
