We would like to inform you that the course “Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Fire Protection Training” is mandatory for first-year students of first-cycle, second-cycle, and long-cycle master’s degree programs (both full-time and part-time), as well as for doctoral students.

The training is conducted via the University of Warsaw’s Digital Competence Center website: https://kampus.come.uw.edu.pl.

The educational materials required for this training are available without time restrictions in the form of four modules. The test, which must be passed to complete the course, consists of 26 multiple-choice questions.

The “OHS Training” course is considered passed if at least 14 answers are marked correctly.

Students may take the test during the following periods:

For the winter semester:

  • First term: 01.10.2024 – 09.02.2025
  • Second term: 21.02.2025 – 02.03.2025

For the summer semester:

  • First term: 17.03.2025 – 29.06.2025
  • Second term: 01.09.2025 – 14.09.2025

No additional dates will be available outside of those listed above.

The results will be automatically sent to the USOS system after the completion of each testing period.

Certificates of OHS training from workplaces do not qualify for credit for the OHS training course required of students and doctoral candidates beginning their studies at the University of Warsaw.

A fee will be charged for retaking the “OHS and Fire Protection Training” course, as specified in the Rector’s Directive on educational service fees for the 2024/2025 academic year. The payment should be made by bank transfer to the account associated with the student’s faculty.

If, during the course, a student or doctoral candidate cannot complete the training due to health or technical reasons, they should contact the course coordinator by email at:
