Second-degree graduates are prepared for work requiring specialized qualifications and possess knowledge enabling them to work in both business and administration. Information about thesis defenses
We inform you that this year’s thesis defenses for the first round are scheduled to take place from July 1 to July 12, 2024. Supervisors must submit applications for theses ready for defense by June 16, 2024. The September round of defenses is tentatively scheduled for September 11-16, 2024. Supervisors must submit applications for theses ready for defense by August 31, 2024. The specific date for a student’s defense will be determined by the Supervisor in consultation with the Study Director.

-DEFENSES 2023-
Procedure for submitting theses and conducting thesis examinations at the Faculty of Management, UW for the academic year 2022/2023, with a request to review and apply it.
The scheduled dates for thesis defenses are from June 28 to July 14, 2023. Therefore, theses should be submitted by the supervisor as ready for defense by June 14, 2023. The specific date for a student’s defense will be determined by the supervisor in consultation with the Study Director.
The second defense date (in September) will be announced later.

The additional exam for ‘Entrepreneurship’ will take place on April 5, 2023, in room C421 from 09:00 to 09:40 (written format, open-ended questions). This exam is only for those who have received permission to reinstate the exam date within the regular timeframe. Students are requested to inform the lecturer of this in advance.

Occupational Health and Safety Training
All students at the University of Warsaw starting their studies are required to complete a course in safety and health at work, referred to as the BHP training. This requirement stems from the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education dated July 5, 2007, regarding safety and health at work in universities (Journal of Laws No. 126, item 897).
