Candidates are required to register online via the Internet Candidate Registration – register here! and pay the application fee. Candidates will be qualified on the basis of the results of the high school leaving examinations in the following subjects, converted into qualifying points: Minimum number of points needed to be qualified: 50

• the original of secondary school (maturity) certificate and transcript of grades, entitling to undertake university-level study in country in which the certificate / document was issued, in English or with translation into English,
• Personal questionnaire with the candidate’s photo, printed from the candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate (available in the candidate’s individual registration account in the section „Enrolment applications” under the chosen field of study, accessible via the link „Documents and further steps”)
• Application for the issue of an electronic student’s card (ELS) with the candidate’s photo, printed from the candidate’s individual registration account in the IRK system and signed by the candidate – for candidates who do not have an ELS from the University of Warsaw (available in the candidate’s individual registration account in the section „Enrolment applications” under the chosen field of study, accessible via the link „Documents and further steps”)
• Proof of student’s ID (ELS) payment: 22 PLN;

• Declaration of acquaintance with the amount of fees for educational services at the University of Warsaw (available in the candidate’s individual registration account in the section „Enrolment applications” under the chosen field of study, accessible via the link „Documents and further steps”)
• From candidates holding a diploma issued abroad, in addition: a legalisation (authorisation) or apostille (if the document was issued by an institution operating in the educational system in a country that is a party to the Convention abolishing the requirement of legalisation for foreign public documents concluded at The Hague on 5 October 1961) of the original of the higher education diploma and the transcript of grades [read more]
• original sworn translations into Polish (in case of studies conducted in English it is possible to submit translation into English) of legalised/signed apostille secondary school (maturity) certificate and transcript of grades or the higher education diploma and transcript of grades (in case of other than sworn translation – translation legalized by the Polish consul in the country where the documents were issued) – depends on the level of studies
• From candidates holding a diploma issued abroad, in addition: a document certifying that the diploma entitles the holder to undertake or continue studies at university level in the country in which the diploma was awarded. Such evidence should be issued or certified by the school or educational institution which awarded the diploma or by the educational authorities of the country in which the diploma was awarded or of the education system in which the school operates (in English or with a translation into English) (a sample form)
• a certificate of recognition (nostrification) of secondary school certificate (issued by the appropriate Education Superintendent), in case of not holding the document – statement on obligation to submit in due date a certificate of recognition (nostrification) of secondary school (maturity) certificate, signed by the candidate [read more]

• Certificate of English language proficiency (at least B2 level) recognised by the University of Warsaw (A list of documents certifying the knowledge of English, accepted in the process of recruitment)
• Payment declaration,
• Proof of payment of application fee – in case of the need for confirmation of making the payment
• Photocopy of visa or other document proving legalisation of stay in Poland
• Authorisation for the submission of documents – in the case of the submission of the candidate’s documents by the other person (a sample form – two pages)
• Consent for undertaking studies by the under-aged applicant – declaration by the parents / legal guardians of the under-aged applicant [a sample statement in pdf format] and information clause on personal data processing which should be signed by the each of legal guardians [a sample clause in pdf format]
