On December 9, 2023, the University of Warsaw will host the fourth international conference on Interdisciplinarity in Health and Health Care, organized jointly by the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, Centre for Security Technologies in Logistics, Faculty of Management of the University of Łódź, the Medical University of Łódź. The main theme of the first session of the conference is „Obesity”in many interdisciplinary aspects. Conference is a part of a larger project 4eu+.

The conference will begin with a speech delivered by Dr Nino Berdzuli, Director of the WHO National Office in Poland. 

Project of  4EU+ Urban Health Case Challenge 2023  assumes that  students from different universities and disciplines strive to develop the best solution to a real-world issue. This year they will deal with the question of obesity in an urban environment. The jury of the competition from WZ UW are: Izabella Łęcka, prof. UW and Barbara Godlewska-Bujok, PhD.

CASE QUESTION: Design an intervention to promote behavior reducing the risk of becoming obese among vulnerable populations in urban environment.
